The Iraqi National Business Council and our economy organization were held on Saturday April 8, 2017 and at the conference hall at the headquarters of the Iraqi National Business Council
Seminar on International Relations and Sustainable Development in Iraq, attended by Dr. Taleb Al-Hamdani, Member of the Advisory Council of the Prime Minister
The session began with a welcome speech by Professor Abdul Hussein Al Anbuge and thanked the Iraqi National Business Council for this initiative in the presence of a group of economic specialists to discuss the Iraqi economic situation, which is in dire need of the elite to put it in its proper path, indicating the importance of sustainable development and the impact of the regional and external environment on development. We have passed through all the problems of wars, terrorism and others. We are on the verge of liberating the land from profanity. We must have development and re-formulate our regional and foreign relations, and improve our interests. Dr. Talib Al-Hamdani holds a doctorate in political science, a bachelor’s degree in engineering and is currently an advisor to the Prime Minister’s Advisor

On the blessing of God was the morning of Wednesday, April 5, 2017 And on the conference hall at the headquarters of the Iraqi National Business Council held a workshop organized by the parliamentary finance committee and the Iraqi National Business Council on the laws (government banks and insurance and tax exemption investment projects)
The session began with a welcome speech by Mr. Dawood Abd Zair and thanked the Parliamentary Finance Committee for attending and conducting this dialogue to discuss the important laws and believed that the session should start with discussing the insurance law.
MP Mohammed Al Halbusi, Chairman of the Parliamentary Finance Committee, expressed his happiness for this meeting, thanking the Business Council for this symposium and this activity which he cherishes as a member of the Council before entering Parliament and asked MP Jabbar Al Abadi to review the insurance law and conduct the discussion.
MP Jabbar al-Abbadi said that this symposium should have been held before the law was passed, but this does not mean that we can prove the essential points that we can amend the law later … as the amendment to the law sent by the government is to increase the percentage only, Presently we can hear and receive from the attendees a statement of observations for consideration by the Finance Committee

Lecture on the challenges facing the financing of energy, oil and gas projects in Iraq
Dr. Ihsan al-Attar, an expert in the management of projects and oil contracts, delivered a valuable lecture on Saturday, 20/5/2017, hosted by the Iraqi National Business Council and the Iraqi Institute for Economic Reform, entitled “Challenges Facing the Financing of Energy, Oil and Gas Projects in Iraq”

Visit of the Brazilian Ambassador to the INBC
In response to an invitation by Mr. Daoud Abdel Zair, the Brazilian Ambassador to Baghdad, Sir Miguel de Maga Hays, was honored as a dear visitor to the Iraqi National Business Council on Tuesday, 25 April 2017. He was received by Mr. Dawood Abd Zair and Mr. Sabah Ghaidan, And in the presence of MP Jawad al-Bolani.
Mr. Dawood Abd Zair welcomed his guest and wished him the opportunity to open the horizons of economic cooperation in all activities, and that it was our honor to meet you at the embassy in Baghdad, which gave us a dose and an additional payment to accelerate cooperation. To develop economic cooperation between our two countries, where we found a common language to work at the same level and we are keen to hold a conference to develop the right agreements to meet the needs of the market and the transfer of experience. We as a business council are ready to crystallize this cooperation and the conference in Brazil.

Then, MP Ahmed Kanani, Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Economy and Investment, thanked the Iraqi National Business Council for choosing the title of this important workshop. The interdependence between securing security and investment in particular and economic projects in general is real and effective. One of the main reasons for the deviation of some and destabilize security, and demanded the Ministry of the Interior serious and intensive work to ensure the protection of investors and the lack of foreign investment strongly in Iraq is due to the lack of a safe investment environment
