The session began with a welcome speech by Mr. Dawood Abd Zair and thanked the Parliamentary Finance Committee for attending and conducting this dialogue to discuss the important laws and believed that the session should start with discussing the insurance law.
MP Mohammed Al Halbusi, Chairman of the Parliamentary Finance Committee, expressed his happiness for this meeting, thanking the Business Council for this symposium and this activity which he cherishes as a member of the Council before entering Parliament and asked MP Jabbar Al Abadi to review the insurance law and conduct the discussion.
MP Jabbar al-Abbadi said that this symposium should have been held before the law was passed, but this does not mean that we can prove the essential points that we can amend the law later … as the amendment to the law sent by the government is to increase the percentage only, Presently we can hear and receive from the attendees a statement of observations for consideration by the Finance Committee
