Chairman of the Iraqi National Business Council Dawood Abd  Zayer said the Iraqi side of the Iraqi National Business Council was signed in Cairo, Arab Republic of Egypt protocol of joint cooperation with the Federation of  Egyptian Industries. Zayer said that a member of the Board of Directors of the Federation Chairman of the Arab cooperation in the Federation of Egyptian Industries, «Mohammed gorgeous» signed on behalf of the Egyptian side, indicating that this protocol is for the first time. Zayer stressed that the protocol aims to deepen the Egyptian industrial partnership – Iraqi to be in the coming period consultations industrial joint ventures, especially that Iraq is looking forward to the development of Iraqi industry.

In one of the most successful economic activities, on Sunday morning, August 8, 2015, at Tammuz Hall in Sheraton Hotel in Baghdad, a symposium was held and sponsored by the Iraqi National Business Council, which was held by the Parliamentary Economy and Investment Committee about the program of the Central Bank of Iraq and Ministry of Finance to lend the sectoral banks (Industrial, Agricultural, Real Estate and Housing Fund), an amount of 5 Trillion Dinars, with a prominent attendance represented by the government staff consisting of the Governor of the Central Bank of Iraq Mr. Ali Al-Allaq and 6 directors general of the bank, His Excellency the Minister of Planning, His Excellency the Minister of Industry and the Deputy of the Ministry of Industry along with a number of directors general working therein, also among the attendants were the Office Manager of PM’s Office, Mr. Ali Al-Allaq, the Advisor of the Prime Minister, Dr. Mudhir Mohammed Salih, the Engineer Wijdan Mikhail the Advisor in the Advisors Board, Mrs. Hamdiya Al-Jaff the Director General of the Trade Bank of Iraq, the Directors General of the Industrial, Agricultural, Real Estate banks and the Housing Fund, the Deputy of Ministry of Industry, college deans and a large number of the Members of Council of Representatives including Mr. Jawad Al-Bolani the Chairman of the Parliamentary Economy and Investment Committee, who conducted the symposium, in addition to the Representatives: Ahmed Al-Kinani, Yahya
Al-Ethawi, Noora Al-Bajjari, Burhan Al-Mamoori, Ali Subhi Dr. Harith Al-Harithi, and a number of businessmen and businesswomen, on top of them the Businessman Hajj Esam Al-Asadi and a group of the members of the Iraqi National Business Council including Mr. Dawood Abed Zayer the Council President, the Council First Deputy Mr. Abdullah Salih Al-Jibouri, the Council Second Deputy Mr. Sabah Esa Ghaidan, and the Board Members: Mr. Qais Al-Khafaji, Mr. Falah Hasan Aftan, Mr. Alaa Al-Atabi, Mahdi Al-Shammari, and Khalid Al-Obaidi, and the Members: Adham Al-Fakhar, Abbas Shamarah, Kareem Ridha, Ali Ridha, Abbas Numan, Sheikh Ahmed Al-Rubaie, Raed
Al-Rhamani, Adil Al-Musawi, Abdulsalam Abu Trab and Sheikh Daham Al-Gaood. Al-Iraqiya Satellite Channel live broadcasted the events of the symposium, which also has received a considerable media attention, as 40 satellite channels were present to cover its events make interviews with the attendants. The symposium was started by playing the Iraqi anthem and reciting Al-Fatihah for the souls of martyrs of the armed forces and popular mobilization and tribal fighters, and then the speeches started, initiated by the Representative Jawad Al-Bolani, then Mr. Ali Al-Allaq, Mr. Minister of Industry, Mr. Manager of PM Office, Mr. Dawood Abed Zayer, all of which focused on the importance of allocating 5 Trillion Dinars in these hard economic circumstances, which requires a solid mechanism to be above any suspicions, noting that that this program is within the government program and the trends of Dr. Hayder Al-Ibadi in the economic reform and supporting the private sector.
